Pneumatic Filters, Regulators and Lubricators

I have some pneumatic filters, regulators, lubricators, and combo devices for sale. Some are new, and some are used. All used units have been tested. I have priced the new units at about 40-45% of retail, and the used at about 1/3. So, here they are:

Wilkerson L28-06-LK00 Lubricator, 150 max PSI, 3/4NPT, this unit was assembled in a system, but never used, $35.

Start with the NPT size you need. Probably 1/2" or 3/4" more than likely. Do you have a system plumbed?

I've got my compressor and that's it. As for plumbing, I think I might take the quick way out for now and just use a long flexible hose. I am swamped with house, yard, and car projects and don't have time to plumb hardline for the compressor in the near future. I've asked on here about what size fitting/hose I should use (compressor has a large opening in the side that can be bushed down to whatever) but the course does not seem clear to me.

My compressor is set at 175 lbs. Are your 150 lb regulators for max output. Would they handle 175 input??

Filters and lubricators are nearly useless when plumbed directly to the compressor. The filter will trap solids when attached to the compressor. However, it will trap little water because water vapor must first condense into a liquid before it can be trapped. Water condenses as it travels through the air line.

Regulators are most useful when they are near the tool.

So, hard lines are the best way to go. For a small shop, 3/4" pipe for the main loop is a good size. Half inch drops are big enough except for use with high air consumption tools(body tools, paint sprayer, bead blaster etc.). A 1/4" FRL is OK for using a single, low air consumption tool. I tend to use these at a work bench. For high air consumption tools I would go with 1/2" or 3/4". When I worked in a shop that had a terrible air system with alot of water in the lines, I used a 1/4" FRL mounted to my tool box and one mounted to my cart. I hope this helps.

Yeah, they are most useful in a hardline system. I'd rather kill a sale than have you end up with something that you don't need.

They are intended to be used with a max system pressure of 150 PSI. So, they really should not be used in a system that provides over 150 PSI to the input. There I go, killing another sale.
