You fellas have a recommendation on a pneumatic floor jack? What should I look for when buying one of these?

Something like this:

If Air Bags can support semi trailers, and save you during a crash; they should work as a jack. Be sure to put stands under the load, a “Blow Out” could make your wife a widow.

The Handy Lift for motorcycles, lawn mowers and Etc comes in a Pneumatic design. You may be looking for something to be used with a four-wheel typical road going vehicle instead of something like a zero turn lawn mower, a garden tractor, a motorcycle, or a trike.

I like it. Never would have thought of that. If I did, my garage could be much bigger and have more toys in it.

I bought this one

and am basically happy with it. Without the extension, it’s just low enough to get under my hot rod. I cut down the pipe extension some, and with it it’s just right for my Dakota.

Using it is nice. No pumping a jack handle. Just open the valve and watch it go up. And unlike a floor jack, it goes straight up.

The bolted together handle is a little wonky feeling, but it works ok.

Thanks fellas, I’m still looking at options on these. Looks like all are very similar, maybe best to get one with 6,000 lb lift capacity and higher lift capability (4 ring instead of 3?)

Depends on what you’re trying to lift. The taller units will be taller at the bottom as well. I can just barely get mine under the car, so a bigger one wouldn’t work for me. But the car is pretty low. If you’re lifting a lifted truck, a bigger one may be required and will fit.

Measure the ground clearance you need to fit the bag in to and go from there.
