pneumatic riveter advice?

Looking to get a 1/4" pneumatic riveter and hand riveter.

I'm leaning towards the astro pr-14 which does 3/16”, 5/32”, 1/8”, 3/32”, and 1/4". I've heard good things about the HF but figure the astro makes more sense since it is probably better made, within $10 of the HF, and will do 3/32" unlike the HF.


Also need a hand riveter, I'd prefer something nice with a swivel head. Had a HP-2 but its a piece of **** and won't release the rivet.

Yeah, all I can tell you is the HF ain't bad. Also the nose cones interchange w my cheap hardware store hand riveter, most of these threads seem universal - maybe just among cheap stuff?

The HF needs regular air tool oil or it releases slowly, or at least that's what I use LOL

Can't lose with the Astro. I've had one for a number of years.

I will say it's one of our highest moving items and we get back around 3-5 a year for warranty.
