Pneumatic Whatzit

Was buying some tools from a guy yesterday and this caught my eye. Appears to be some sort of pneumatic hammer. This is HEAVY and the air coupler is huge. Needless to say, he didn't have a compressor large enough to test it.

Actually, it's for packing sand in a mold.

Bench Tamper .used for tamping sand in the foundry casting industry a lot. Looks like it might a Chicago Pneumatic or Jet.
