I like USA made. I bought some cheap ones on Amazon when I saw them offered initially on some youtube video. They haven't broken, so I have not replaced them.

ive been using my mac pocket pry daily for about a yr and half and the clip broke off the other day. ive got a few of the "gato" branded ones from amazon as back ups but they dont feel a sturdy as the mac. i'll have to give the SO ones a try when they become available

I don't know about anybody else but I think a pry bar shank is best if it's square. These being round seem inferior to the MAC version.

Huh…. Interesting, I have an orange and green, I’ll have to check tomorrow, they might be different and he may have just had them custom made for himself, they do say snap on on them, but now thinking about it i don’t think they have the part number etched in to them……They just got announced today
On another note, now I want the black handle one haha, I’ll check with my driver tomorrow since tomorrow is Snap On Friday haha

I typically carry a SDD204 pocket screwdriver which does small flat/Philips screws and prying. Sure it's not supposed to do Philips or prying, but it's proven very tough and its always there.
Would swapping my pocket screwdriver for a pocket prybar reduce the ability for turning screws? Maybe a pocket prybar and a pocket reversible screwdriver is the answer?

Really though, is there anything about these that makes them a “prybar” and not a “screwdriver” other than mac giving them that title? Even advertises using the straight ones to turn screws, the difference is noticeable in regular prybars but I don’t see any at all here

I use pocket screwdrivers all the time for depressing electrical connectors, light prying, etc. I have the cheap Amazon pocket pry at and have bent the tip more than once. I also have two sets of the MAC pocket prybars and love them. They are an ideal size and the shaft has more heft and won’t bend as easily. Bent tip like a pry bar that’s small like a pocket screwdriver…yes please

Just a thicker shaft than the mini screw drivers along with a nice handle. I think they'll be a big hit judging by MAC's pocket prybar.

But really they just have a thicker shaft and a nice little handle while still being pocket size. I'm not going to carry either of them in a pocket though.
I've been wanting one since I saw MAC release theirs but I don't have a MAC dealer.
