I can't remember if we have a thread going on such things, but Ithink I'll be needing some tiny screwdrivers soon, and my current box of pocket drivers, mini bit holders, and such just ain't cutting it. Plus, with all these micro fasteners that are appearing everywhere I'm beginning to appreciate the micro bit drivers.
I've been searching the web finding some promising items. What are you guys using? Do you prefer the bit drivers where the bits store in the handle, or a bigger kit with a snap lid? Sets where each size has it's own tip, or interchangeable tips? Or do you mod existing ones or make your own?
Show us what you've got and what you like. Thanks in advance!

This website had some real nifty items - the micro screw starters are a definite grab!

I guess I should state that I'm not looking for the "standard" precision screwdrivers that you hold with you index finger and spin with your thumb and middle finger. Also I need small Torx and allen bits. Mainly for electronic thermostats and heating system control boards.

I have a Kobalt mini bit driver with about 20 bits, and a harbor frieght bit driver with a nice small plastic case with a nice assortment of almost anything I'd need.

That said, I never use either, as I prefer individual drivers(most of the small stuff I need it for has recessed screws that the bit drivers wouldn't reach. I only mentioned those two sets since you are looking for some, and because they're both pretty complete and portable.

I use a mix of wera, wiha, and snappy precision drivers. All 3 are top notch and not that expensive.

These:

Sometime you need a long shank so get a few of these in your choice of bit style:

...or the master technicians set:

I prefer the Wera precision screwdrivers over the Wiha because the hump in the handle acts as a torque amplifier. However Wiha has a broaders selection of bit styles.

P.S. High quality/precise fitting bits are very important with tiny fasteners. If you strip the fasteners head it can ruin your whole day.

I use the free ones from Matco and snap on i like them both the magnets come in handy also have a small snap on that has a double ended bit that goes directly in handle like it has a flat and #2 Phillips it's tiny and has no clip to hold it on your shirt also have another snap on with orange handle that's a flat head and a clear with Phillips and both have clips they are nice as well and cheap around $8.

Yes , Wiha .
They have some small sets with flat/Phillips as well as small Torx .
I know what you mean, lot more Torx bits on control boards.
Mega pro makes a screwdriver with tamper proof bits in the handle, that covers the bases pretty well. I use these to remove the screws when fixing the loose wires inside of gas valves.

Snap-On Orange handle little screwdriver is my most used tool.

Yep the SDD224 is used 100:1 for every other tool I own, don't leave home without it, goes in my shirt pocket every morning, feel like I'm missing a shoe if I don't have it with me. And every once and a while it gets used as a screwdriver :)
