Pole Barn Addition - Design Inputs Requested

What are viable and/or creative options for an addition to my existing 24x40 pole barn?

We we purchased our home/property several years ago it already had a pole barn built. Unfortunately it is only a 24' wide x 40' long x 10' eve building with a 4/12 pitch roof and 8' tall garage door. I had outgrown it the day we moved in. :(

I am sick of things sitting outside rotting in the sun/rain/snow. This year we also purchased a 35' long travel trailer, which kills me to have sit outside. I would really like to add at least 16' of width and extend the length to 64' with the addition supporting a 13-14' tall door to accommodate the RV. Is this even possible? I realize there would be a lot of wasted space due to the shorter eves on one side and require some special order trusses. I'd prefer to not just build another separate building if possible.

Any good ideas and examples with pictures are greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

The easiest and cheapest way would be to build a covered rv parking area to one side and an attached , enclosed lean-to to the other side. I can't picture an easy way to modify the existing structure without major demo to it .

I am really not interested in a lean-to. Below is just an idea that I quickly came up with, and NO I am not a contractor or a structural engineer...just a normal dude. Not captured in the details is the difficulty of setting new taller poles as close as possible to the old building's poles. I imaging that will be a challenge.

I am not engineer, so take my comments as suggestions/ ideas only. Looking at your drawings, if you went the option where you completely replace the roof trusses on the existing building, could you spec trusses that would give you attic storage above? Thus way at least if your replacing them you gain some additional space doing so.

Thats a fantastic idea to try to make up for some of the inefficiency of the basic design. Thanks!
