Hello there...I am downsizing on my house near Wichita ks and am needing a 30x60 or 40x80 shop built...I currently have a stick built 30x60 with office full bath etc....I have been lurking on this site for a while and to be honest a guy can get overwhelmed real quick. I build some custom cars for people so I want a nice shop. I really want the bigger shop but I am worried about heating and possibly cooling it. I will do a 10'wall with scissor trusses or go with the 12'wall height. I see a lot of builders from Oklahoma and was wondering if any one has dealt with anyone that will build in ks.. any ideas would be great Thanks Bret

I wouldn't think that you would have any problem finding all of the well known brands of pole building builders, such as Morton.

Just look at all the machine sheds the next time you go out for a drive.

Morton has offices in Salina and Winfield, and I am surprised that they do not have one in the Wichita area.

Check out the Barn Guys in Andover. I looked at using them when I was planning mine.
I ended up going with Gober Construction out of Seminole, Ok. Overall I am happy with the final product, it just took them 14 weeks longer than what they originally told me. They tried to blame the weather, supplier shortages, etc. 3 months later, my wife's cousin had them build one and they were 3 months late on his also.
Also check with Triple B Construction in Clearwater and Cleary Buildings in Wellington.

You didn't happen to go to school in Clearwater did you?

QSI has an office in Haven. THey build a building that is very similiar to Morton but more affordable. I had a 40X64 built 2 years ago and am very happy with it.

I don't know the name of the business, but there is a shed building business in Atwood that builds a lot of pole sheds in the high plains area. I have had some farm customers use them and the are on time and on budget. A google search might work.

Another vote for Cleary. I'm SW Kansas. Mine was up in three days, and would have been two if it were not for high winds. Very much like Morton but was less money.
