In the final planning stages of a new pole building and I'm looking for some opinions and recommendations on pole barn builders in southwest Michigan. Grand Rapids metro..
It appears to be hit or miss on my researching online and would value some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

I had Midwest pole barns (They claim they build anywhere in Michigan) built mine and they did a excellent job and they were also the cheapest price.

That being said they don't have any actual employee's erecting the buildings, everything is subcontracted. So it could depend on who they end up getting to put your barn up.

the crew that built mine was from midland, there was three of them they came down in a motorhome and stayed right on site during the week and went home on the weekends. took 7 or 8 days to erect my 36x64x14.......they were really good I'm still amazed at how plumb everything is.
all the lumber came from standale lumber in grandville, mi.........excellent quality nice and straight

Thanks for the heads up. They were one of the ones that popped up in my research but wasn't sure if they were a company that sub-contracted everything out. It's good to know you had a good experience with them because the sub-contracting of everything does make me nervous. Ideally I'd like to deal with one person for the build.

At first when I made the deal with midwest I wasn't sure I liked the setup. here's the way it went: They took a $3000 deposit, $15,000 when the lumber showed up and I was to pay the lumber company direct and when the building was finished I paid the carpenters $5,000. So it was obvious they got there money up front but when it was all done I new everyone was paid and I didn't have to worry whether they paid there subs so all in all it was a good deal.
