Hey guys,
My dad is looking to build a shop out on his land and is currently looking around at different builders. He is located outside of Shreveport, LA and hasn't done too much shopping around yet. The one company he has looked at is Ark-la-Tex builders, but they claim their shops can only be 24' in width due to their truss design.
I am trying to convince him that this would not be enough width (because honestly with a kubota and a PTO attachment, and shelving in front it would be tight to work on) and because I have always heard build bigger than you plan
.
So to the point, does anyone have any experience with a company building, or even just delivering all materials and building it ourselves, in the Louisiana area?
Thanks a lot.
