Im looking at 2 different options for my new 24 x 30 x 10 garage.
Metal building on concrete pad or pole barn.

My understanding with the pole barn is they set post into ground. Build building on post. High grade side ( front of garage) bottom of building be just little bit over that grade.
Way grade is. At the 30 foot rear i will have 18 inch gap from bottom of building to grade.

I assume load rock in compact and more rock and conpact. Until level bottom 2x10 of bulding. Use 2x10 for form for concrete.

My question is on the right side of building i have 2 foot easment to my neighbors property( building right on that 2 foot mark) How do i keep from rock passing that threshold. Do i build block retaining wall to keep any rock comes out from under building gaps?

Thank you

First step in building is site prep. You need to get the area level first. Second reconsider that 10' height.

I would just do my form work right down to grade, leave enough space to pour a bit of concrete, and let the outer edge of the concrete be the wall. No stone, no mess, easy to mow and weed eat.

Do you mean there will be a gap between the grade board (the treated 2x10 you are using as a form) and the ground? If so, no problem, just put another grade board below it wherever its lowest. I had a similar grade (but not that high), and in the back 1/3 of the shop, I have 2 courses of grade board, then just one in the front 2/3's.
