Pole Barn Details

Hey guys I wanted to post on here a couple questions I have concerning a couple details I'm unsure about on pole barn trim and concrete slab. I figure there's many here who have built their own barns and know where these things are supposed to go on a barn. Or if there is another thread that you can point me to that would be much appreciated as well. First is where the top of interior concrete floor slab is relative to the bottom of skirt board? I see many times when guys cut the top portion of the skirt board out where a man door is located. This then leads me to the position of the base trim or rat guard. Is it placed below the top of concrete elevation to where the wall steel is resting below the top of slab? Thank you for any help you can give.

Thank you, Bill. I'm looking at the Hansen site now. There seems to be a lot of info there. For someone not accustomed to pole building I have a lot of questions about the details. Lots to learn!

Google pole barn flashing and click images. There are many diagrams that show the flashing and trim types and where they are used in a pole barn.

Yeah, I looked over Midwest Manufacturing (Menards) and they show the trims and where they go.

If you want to use an excessive amount of materials you could use the overly complicated detail I came up with and used on mine.
