Pole barn Framing

I am building a pole barn and are using 6x6 post my question is if I run my metal horizontal on the sides how do I need to frame the sides out if you run the metal vertical I was going to put the wall girts on 2 OC not sure what to do if I run the metal horizontal do I even need them or can I screw straight to the post

Why run your metal horizontal? The wall girts aren't there solely for nailers for the tin they also provide structural support. I'd consider putting the girts at 2' oc and then run the tin vertical.

You still wold want a 2x4 vertical every 24" to screw into from the metal siding.

I would think.

How tall are your side?

You Could set your 2x4 flush with post I don't think you'd need to face the post with a 2x4.

Just my thought.
