Hello, This my first post been lurking alot latley. I am having a 30x30x10 pole building built. That should be started next week. It will be used for a garage/ metal fab shop. Im confused as to what electrical and lighting to use. Im clueless to how much power i will need and the most cost effecient way of getting it , underground from pole or have power company *** out and set a pole, and what wire and boxes i will need . And would like some suggestions on what kind and how many lights to use. The garage will be built around 8ft from my house. I have a 200amp box in the house, but i dont think i can get away with a 100amp in the garage as i already have 220v compressor, 2 220 welders mig and tig, 220v mandrel tubing bender, and 220v plasma. I know i cant use them all at once on my own but Im sure I will have some help from time to time.
