I have moved to the Nashville area and need to have a pole barn built. Before I can really entertain any bids I need to establish if a pole barn can be built with my soil condition. I need leads for a excavator in my area to check out the soil & rock condition, I live in the county so I don't need a permit for the structure, have checked. I will also need leads for pole barn builders in this area, any help is appreciated.

Thank You

I live in ky. Several years ago I had a shop built by the Amish. His last name was breubaker. I was going to have him build my new shop, but he moved to Tennessee. I think Washington county. Send me a pm if you want more info.

What side of nashville are you on?
Pole barn builders are covered up right now. There is a cost share program for cattle producers going on. Try Somertown Metals or Lexington Metals . They do a lot of pole barns and have some good crews.

Thank you guys for the response, I will PM you for info on the Amish gentleman. I live about 30 min's north of the airport a little east of downtown. I have talked to National and received a generic quote, really need to talk with others to get a feel for things.

I have to establish the feasibility of a pole barn on this property first, doesn't do me any good to get quotes for something that maybe can not be built. I am concerned about the soil condition due to rocks and etc. I ran the exporting Corp. for a large Japanese Co. and have to study things before I proceed.

One Co. I contacted wanted to sell me by just emailing me, couldn't even pickup the phone, let alone do a site visit.

I have contacted a Mennonite group today may get together with them tomorrow if the weather hasn't screwed things up.
