Hi everyone glad to be a new member.
I have started a new project. I built a 40X72 pole barn a couple of years ago and I made a mistake. When the contractor asked me if I wanted it insulated I just told him to do the roof. What a mistake, I thought I would get it insulated then fill it up, wrong. When I started checking on insulation I had a major reality check. I have a freind that says insulation is cheap, it will pay for itself. the hard part is coming up with the intial investment. Now I'm finally to that point. I put 1 1/2 styrofoam inbetween the perlins, then I'm adding R-19 Paper faced to 2x6 24 inch on center. WOW alot of work.
