Pole Barn Insulation

I am new to this website and have a couple of questions about insulation. We are about to build a 60x80 Barn in a couple months. I really want to insulate with spray foam. Can you spray insulation against a vapor barrier next to the exterior metal? Does the barn have to have vents or can you just spray the indside of the roof and gables? I wanted to put a ceiling up without insulation.
