I will be building a pole barn in the next couple of weeks. After the barn is built, I will finish out part of the barn into an apartment. I've seen others on this site do something similar.
For those that have done something like this, did you frame and secure your walls directly to your pole barn walls or are your walls independent of your pole barn?
My initial plan was to tie my walls into the pole barn walls but I was told that a pole barn could "move" a little and thus cause issues like doors and windows not opening/closing properly.
Please share your experiences and opinions.
