Hey, guys. Just finished tearing down a dilapidated pole barn that I had and I made the effort taking a time lapse video of it. Just for fun!

Anyway, thought I would share.

Take care

Yup! Recycling the nails and other metals whenever I make my next run to the scrap yard, using the tin to repair a wood sided wall on another building I have, and using the lumber for various things.

Thanks for watching!

Thanks! I do, indeed, have plans to replace this barn at some point. Perhaps in 2021. I could do it now, but I've got so many irons in the fire I kind of don't feel like taking on another big project. Haha

The old barn was 26' x 35' x 7' with no electricity, water, or concrete. The new one I have plans to get will have all three of those things and also be a bit bigger at 50' x 40' x either 10' or 12'. I plan to transition my current workshop (20' x 60' x 7') into the new one. I've gotten a few estimates on both pole barns and steel buildings. Obviously steel would be better, but it will also be double the price or more. So I'm really trying to look into the future to figure out how long this building would be my main shop and how nice I want it to be. My current shop isn't much to write about but I have made it work for 10 years, so I'm figuring it won't take much to make me happy - wood or steel. lol
