Pole barn vs stick built

I am new to this site. I want to build a 3 car garage but can't decide between a pole style or stick built. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum! Pole buildings are cheaper obviously but in my opinion, stick framed is better in terms of longevity, insulating and being able to add on or remodel such as over head storage or what have you.

Out his neck of the woods the majority of detatched garage builds are all steel.

Just like Larry said, we need to know your intended use and the available budget.
Initially a pole building is the cheapest to put up. You can have a usable structure with no concrete floor and simple girts for walls. Building this way you can add floor and wall structures as the money and time allow.
If you need to have a usable, heated building right away and the budget allows it, put up a stick built with stud walls. More cost right up front but you are getting a lot more for your money.

Guys build Pole Buildings because they are cheaper and go up faster. Tens years down the road they get tired of being cold in winter and hot in summer, then frame it out and insulate.
I recommend stick built as it all can be done in the beginning.
I believe its property value added over a pole building too (IMO)
