Pole Barn Window install

I did some googling and didn't find any examples.

I need to install a vinyl slider in a pre-existing pole barn and make it look nice with flashing.

Thoughts?

I have access to the sheetmetal form the inside, I can pull that OSB off. I want to put it somewhere between those two posts.

The guys who did my pole barn garage installed vinyl sliders. Check out some of my pictures for ideas. They used the standard metal j-channel trim on the exterior, and framed out the opening to fit the windows with 2x6 lumber on the inside.

I am guessing it's not a window made specifically for a steel sided barn. Those don't require any flashing. They're a bit spendy, but they look nice. I posted some photo's below.

So if it is a regular house style window I would suggest framing it with bookshelf girts (see next post for a detail) and trimming it like a man door with "J" Trim at the top and "C" trim along the sides and bottom (see detail below)
