Pole building out of light posts?

My boss decided not to keep 4 light poles and said I could get them but wants me to give him a price. I have no idea? I think he will be fair but it still might be out of my range.
Can anyone help with value? I don't need 25' light posts but I do need a shed. Would these be overkill
(cut down to size of course) for corner post?

I can build a 10x20 w/o permit.
I'm guessing 6" square 3/8" (?) the bottom plate is 3/4" and the top plate is 3/8th but I am not sure how to tell how thick the post w/o cutting.

Ideas?

How heavy is the wall of the poles? That is what could make or break the idea, but I suspect they will do just fine. Off topic a bit, what wattage are those Hubbell floods?
The pictures do not give enough detail to tell if they are 400 or 1000W MH, the cast aluminum housings if cleaned have some scrap value, but a 400W flood makes a nice worklight.

Well if you are just going to use the steel then find the price if the new steel and take that

Scrap price. That would be a good deal for you and get them out of his way. If he wants (what their worth) I would pass. We got free phone poles that were being replaced due to age. Worked great for my inlaws old barn. If he wants to market and try to sell old light poles let him.

I like to save a buck as much as the next guy, but I decided the last 30 yrs or so to use treated 4X4, 4X6 or 6X6. It really isn't that much more expensive and the buildings come out straight. If you use those metal poles you will still have to screw on nailers etc

Thanks for the reply's I guess I'll call around and get scrap value as I have no clue what they weigh?
I can't lift one end.
I'm sure I could find plenty of other uses for the left overs.

Bought them, now to cut them in half to be able to get them home.
My thought is I can set them on sonotube pads w/studs that way I can use a gravel floor till the funds show up.
