I am starting my garage project and am looking to add a 24 x 24 garage (needs to also have a concrete floor) to my property.

Can anyone suggest a quality Pole building company? I am in eastern Pennsylvania North of Philly. Anyone have any tips on what I should be looking for in quality and the pitfalls to try and avoid - it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got my 30x60 pole barn from Sutherlands Lumber Co about 10 years ago. I know they still sell building kits. Don't know what all states they are in.

I looked at Lester and Conestoga. They were very competitive but Conestoga offered higher pitched roofs.

Conestoga is in the process of building my 36' x 28' garage now

Are you looking for a turn key job? If so, I suggest you give Morton Buildings a call and see if they have an office close to you. They have them all over the country. The price may seem a little high, but they will guarantee you it is the price you pay. Every thing is spelled out in a contract with NO surprises. I have used them on two projects and can't say enough about them. On time construction and the best warranties in the business, not to mention an excelent isulation package available. I had a 44 X 75 built in 1991 with a 44 X 50 addition added in 1998. My only regret is that I wish I had gone with a 14' ceiling height instead of 12' to give more room for 3/4 ton trucks on the 4 post lift. Also would be better fit for most 2 post lifts. After floor and ceiling installed, I had 141" of clearance. Good luck with the project!

I priced Morton and National Barn. I got a local contractor to do a conventional frame with trusses for basically the same price. It was actually cheaper than Morton. Contractors in our area are slow right now.
Conventional frame is easy to finish on the inside. I got metal siding and metal roofing.

Locally the price of metal pole building siding has gone from approx. $55/100sqft to approx $85/ 100sqft in the last 3-4 months.

I agree withe the Morton recommendation.
Did the local contractor give you a lifetime wind damage warranty?? My Dad's neighbor got an entire 60x120 Morton building replaced by Morton after a tornado sucked clean out of the ground.

I used Conestoga for my 24x32x12 back in March 05 and they did a nice job. No problems to date.
