Pole Building

So...After seeing bmxdad's pole building garage, I think I want one. I have spent the last several hours on the web looking for a pole building in Ontario Canada and I can not find one for the life of me!

Has anyone in Ontario built a pole building? Anyone in Canada? I can't imagine that there would be code issues due to winter, there of plenty of these buildings in the notherern US.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try looking for post frame building instead. Terminology varies a little.

My initial thought is you probably want a higher pitch roof due to the increased snow load. Around here we use a standard 4-12 pitch. Another thought is to check with your local building codes to see what the issue could be

I just had a quote from these guys for a 36 x 40
