Pole construction Ontario Canada Help

Hello, I am in the planning stages of a shed for next summer. I want to build this at the back of my property and due to access reasons I would like to build a pole building over a slab stick building. I have talked to my building department and they say pole buildings are fine as long as they follow the Ontario Building Code. I have read the code over, but it is quite confusing. Can anyone give me any insights into appropriate plans and designs for Southern Ontario? Specifically the footings. Thank you.
