After searching, I couldn't find this particular answer.

What do you all prefer for pole sanders; sheets or screens and why?

I'm having moderate luck with sheets, but was wondering if there's an advantage to the screens I'm missing because the sheets were cheaper.

Learn me somethin'! :)

I always used screens until recently, I found these rubber sanding pads, kinda like make out of silicone, and they far and away are better than the screens and last way longer. I'm unsure of the name of the product but it is 3M.

I try not to sand, and use wet sponges instead. This technique requires proper mudding; less is more. too m,uich mud and it takes way too long. And, no dust!!!

Sanding is not just for drywall. If I am repainting a room, I will lightly sand all the walls.

That "360" design just about makes it impossible to gouge a wall and the sanding disc will stay in contact with the wall from almost top to bottom. They really do work well

I do very little sanding actually, but after years of remodels, I wouldn't call my self a dry waller at all. Just enough to get by. In fact, I need to shoot some texture in my house today, indicating mud operations are done. Luckily for me, I'm doing a match up in 4 areas equaling about 25 square feet, that my pops did in the 1970s so it's heavy texture with a knock down.
