We often get asked a lot about polished concrete and if it is a suitable finish for garage and automotive type floors.
Our short answer is no, polished concrete is not suitable since automotive fluids and such can stain and harm the floor. If doing automotive type work and your floor will see these kinds of fluids then it needs to be coated, or treated with a penetrating sealer like Ghostshield.
We saw this interesting video online published by a very large supplier of polished concrete supplies and equipment and thought would share.
