Poly Air hose on Reel

I have 2 of the northern tool hose reels, they work great. After I moved I put one in the garage and one in the woodworking shop. Both have the included rubber hoses currently. The rubber hose is great in the garage where it gets rolled over, stepped on, etc. In the wood shop it is so heavy that I have to be careful where I place tools or it will pull them off the table.

Can I put it on one of the hose reels without issues?

They work great for that. I have two in use on reels.
