Poly flake floor is in. Best methods for caulking relief cuts?

My floor is done! Local company did the install. Very happy I went ahead with it.

They did a lot of prep work on this new slab ( 3 months old never used) including using a router of sorts to bevel the edges of the crack relief cuts. Really looks nice but, there wider now and will collect even more debris.

Ive decided to fill them about to just below the floor surface with Sika Self Leveling. Because its a flake floor there is a little texture so I am wonder the best way to get clean caulk edges. SHould I try and tape the sides and smooth over with curved caulking tool or just fill and let self level?

Floor looks great!

Tape is you’re best bet there. Slowly fill with the Sika that way you don’t overflow it too much. The stuff has good self leveling properties so as long as you don’t add too much it’ll be an easy clean up on the edging.

get some lizzard tape. seals better to the floor. obviously make sure the floor is clean. put foam backer rod into the seam so you are only filling the top inch. i'd let it level to the height of the floor so creep up on it. that stuff flows bigtime when its warm. use wide tape as any of it on the floor will be a mess so the extra wide 4 inch tape is good protection. smooth it out a little and before it hardens pull up the tape being careful it does not get on the floor. silka is unbelievably tough. i did and recommend level with the floor.

Making progress. Stated with a few rolls of blue tape and switched to cheapo tan old fashioned masking tape because it's sticks better to the floor.

10 hours of taping and filling all the relief cuts.
Uncured Gap filler may be removed with laguer thinner. Apparently I went beyond the uncured stage 😳
In my defense I hate wearing gloves. They never fit and end up ripping. I have hands like Trump 😁 This stuff is NOT coming off my hands LOL
