Don’t know if I’ll have time to do my garage myself some I’m talking to a local installer. He recommends a full chip broadcast Polyaspartic, (base pigment coat, pigment and chip coat and a clear coat) for a 1200 sq ft new construction garage. His sample of full flake has quite a bit of texture so I’m hoping for some feedback on the full flake. I was thinking epoxy with some anti-skid would be better for a hobby garage but I’m open to suggestions.

How hard is cleaning up an oil spills and keeping the floor clean?

Do floor jacks and toolboxes roll easily?

Anybody have damage from floor jacks or jack stands?

Thanks

Very impact resistant system.
We prefer an epoxy base over the poly.
Poly is a better topcoat.

We use a 90% solids poly over top. One coat leaves a mild amount of texture.

Working with what your builder has to offer,if you want less texture, you may want to check and see what an extra coat of clear would cost. It will decrease the texture and make it easier to clean.

If you want less texture we offer a 100% solids polyaspartic topcoat. MUCH thicker than std topcoats. Also using smaller size 1/8" flecks makes the floor much less textured as the overlap of the flecks is less.
