Polyaspartic in one day?

I'm getting a few quotes on polyaspartic floor coating, I have a 1000 sqft, new slab.

- First place quoted me $6k, done in one day, they said they're able to get it done in a day because they have enough crews to have them work the job for the whole day rather than trying to hit multiple job sites in a day. This seems a little suspect to me, and comes across as a rush job.

- Second place quoted me $10k, and stated it would be a 2 or maybe 3 day job, they also said they'd do it for $8k if I did the grinding myself.

Curious on y'alls thoughts on these quotes, or if you have any recommendation for flooring companies in the Denver area I'm all ears.

Polyaspartic coating systems generally start in the $6 per square foot range and can go up from there. The article below explains why they are "One Day" systems and how they work.

Grind it yourself, apply it yourself and save more than half the money. You'll end up with superior floor when you use one of Wolverine Coatings' systems. If quick return to service and/or heavy duty use is a key factor check out our solid color CFLC system. If you're looking for a flake floor checkout the Chip Floor or the 3 Layer partial flake system.

I'm having a polyaspartic system done in one day in about 2 weeks. They've got to grind off the homeowner (not me) applied epoxy. 546 sq. ft. for $4300 ($3800 for coating / $500 for grinding). They ask that I have the garage cleared out & ready to go with they get there, but said they can do it in one day easy. 3 man crew.

Polyaspartic systems can be properly applied in a single day with the proper manpower and equipment without issue. If they have 2-3 guys and a good grinder or two it should be fine. If they are not using diamond grinders we would be suspect.
