I had an installer put in an epoxy base/flake/poly aspartic top coat system approximately one week ago in my 380sqft two-car garage.
The epoxy base and flake went down on the first day. He came back the next day to put down the clear polyaspartic top coat. He mixed it in two batches - first covered half of the garage, and then he tied in with the second batch. The plan was to come back the next day for a second coat of poly.
The majority of the floor cured just fine, but the left side middle was still tacky (approx 9'x5' area). He called his supplier and they suggested to continue going over top with the second coat of poly, stating that it should catalyze the tacky coat below and cure together.
It seemed to have done that, except for where the second coat bubbled. The bubbles formed an air gap, which once popped, revealed the tacky first coat below. There are quite a few of these in that area that was previously tacky.
What are my options here?
