Polylok for Drainage/Trenching?

Hello Everyone!

This is my first post - although I have been searching and reading about many different subjects since I joined.

Since I am getting ready to start construction on a new shop, the information I have learned has been very enlightening!

My question: Has anyone used Polylok (see link below) drainage/trenching products in their concrete floors? Any comments pro or con would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any other products that anyone would recommend for drainage inside a garage?

The drainage is wanted so I can wash our vehicles/equipment indoors during the cold months.

They work. They are just a plastic version of what has been done with cast irion for years. You have to have a place for the water to go. Grade or slant is inportant. Make sure the concreate guys have experience with them.
If you are going to have heavy dirt, then you will need silt traps before the drain pipes.

The Polylok product line is cheap and poorly designed. I highly recommend the Tuf-Tite, Inc. drainage products. They are superior quality with a much more robust design. http://www.tuf-tite.com/drainage.html . Good Luck
