Hi everyone,

I just ordered a 750 sq ft polyurea full broadcast kit (from Garage Flooring LLC) and am wondering if anyone has advice on installation.

Questions:

1) Where do I stop at the garage door? (after the seal - outside side, in the middle, before the seal/garage side).

2) Should I be wearing spiked shoes?

3) Should I coat the concrete trim at the same time as install, or after/before?

4) The flake comes in 1/16" for full broadcast. Do I still need to knock it down/scrape?

Thank you!

Have you called or emailed them? Justin is very helpful. There are a tip sheet and polyurea install instructions on the website, too. You will need spiked shoes so you can broadcast flake.
The door seal thing is up to preference. Many people stop inside the door edge, leaving bare concrete showing outside which can be left alone or treated with a different color paint, etc. It may depend on how you feel the poly color will look compared to your outside house colors.

Inside the garage seal
Anytime you are walking on the wet coating yes
YES. You will remove a large portion of what you broadcast. It's important to get everything that is not stuck off and make sure everything is even.

I am headed camping for the weekend but when you place an order from us you get my email, my cell etc. Reach out any time

I added a Tsunami seal to my garage door. I based the end of the chip broadcast on that. In any case, end it right behind the door seal.

As far as scraping/vacuuming the chips, my experience was that I gave back about half of
the chips I put down. I could barely lift my shop vac after I finished.
