Has anyone tried mixing glitter into Polyurea before rolling it onto the garage floor? How much glitter do you use per gallon?

I've seen some posts about doing this with Epoxy and using 1lb glitter/gallon but I can't find anything guides on how much to use with Polyurea. I wasn't sure if it would make a difference. Thanks!

Hi
We have used metallic pigments with our Polyaspartics with excellent results.

We have also broadcast onto Polyaspartic and our SPGX Polyurea metallic glitter we carry which also works fine but...the glitter is very 'light' compared to flecks and not that easy to broadcast evenly.

We have also had clients mix in glitter to 100% solids clear at the rate of 2.5 lbs/gallon and has worked well to our knowledge.

Thanks guys. It's crazy how widely the range varies in both what you two have seen customers use as well as what I'm reading online. There's a huge difference between 4oz & 40oz.

Arthurk, did you end up trying the glitter in your floor? Interested in if the project worked out.

Funny to see this come up. My wife saw what my garage floor was looking like, noted that it was nice but not exactly sparkly, and wondered aloud whether bass-boat sparkle levels would be possible in the floor. I'm not sure we'll try it in the main garage- but if we do the shed, we very well might. :D
