So i'm getting my garage coated right away but I was between 2 local companies.

One company uses polyaspartic and tells me that polyurea is much cheaper/thinner and less durable.

Any thoughts on this?

Hope this helps i found it on another website,so?
We use polyaspartic polyurea often, but 98% of the time as a top clear coat on a garage floor only. The fact is, you can get the best of both worlds by using epoxy flooring as your base coat and polyurea as your top coat. You get a final garage floor coating that will stick to the floor through high moisture vapor emissions, and the increased durability of a polyurea top coat.
I am sure some of the flooring experts on here will chime in soon!

Nomadness is right on the money.
Use 50% solids epoxy primer for great penetration.
Use 100% Solids or High Solids Epoxy for good build.
Use Polyurea or Polyaspartic for your Super-Strong Glaze!

There are different degrees of solids for both products, for different purposes.
His statement is vague and subjective.
