Exactly what off gassing can I expect. Lots initially then gone or is it always there. It's for a garage topcoat

You should get little if any at all with a polyurethane top coat. It's possible if you apply in high humidity or during extreme temperature changes during the application and curing however.

Also, don't roll it fast or try to put it on too thick. Rolling fast will trap air which can look like off gassing and putting it on too thick will create an orange peel effect and not look as clear.

It also depends on where your coating. Coating a basement will smell more than a garage. If it's a garage a windy day will help a lot. Though it still smells. I get the most comments when I do a floor. Close the doors and leave. Then the custom comes home to open a man door and see the trapped fumes- what little there are.

Really thought the level of small is determined by you. I've gonna bad sense so it never bothers me.
