So quick question on polyurethane top coat over polyurea base. Can it be used over polyurea base? I currently have a garage that is being converted into a woodworking shop and do not plan on using this garage for any type of vehicle traffic but have enough rocksolid garage kits to finish the garage but want to add an additional 50LBs of flakes to the floor and need a top coat but dont want to buy the rocksolid topcoat$$$$$$$. I am looking for a VERY inexpensive topcoat that could be put on this to help seal in the chips. Again I am not looking for this to handle heavy triffic and will only see light walking traffic.

Can a hardwood poly be used? Wax? There are no windows, and no garage doors so UV is not an issue.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

Shortcuts will always lead to disasters. Polyurethane's have to be applied paper thin. They are not meant to seal chips. Wood poly and wax is not meant for this application. Stick to application guidelines. Deviate at your own peril.
