Poor Fit ?

On reading a review of stubby combination, he mentioned the poor fit marking a machine. What is poor fit ? I don't mean loose or tight, rather real numbers . Like plus .010" or what.

I don't think the review meant anything, it was just an opinion. If we are talking about a 1/2 opening that is .532 " , now that sounds both more real, and also pretty sloppy. What are wrench tolerances ? How many thou over is sloppy ? I don't have any Snap-On wrenches to measure.

Here's two Snap-on data points. The wrenches are a "tight" fit on the hex key sockets. Wrenches were measured on the 6 point hex end, not the open end. Appears to be .009" clearance on a "tight" fit.
