Picked this up from my grandfather a while back. Finally got it cleaned up enough to be used. I'm not using the table saw part, just the jointer. My plan is to take the table saw off and store it so I can mount a planer where it is sitting.

So both sides would be driven off the same motor at the same time? Interesting.

Actually you can power one or the other by selecting the belt attachments. I had a Delta that was similar. Power the table saw or the jointer from a dual output shaft motor. You could run both at once, but could never find a scenario where that made sense.

Yeah. This one doesn't have any way of easily releasing either of the belts. You hit the on switch and both tools start spinning. I didn't bother to replace the belt on the table saw, so I only have the jointer spinning.
