Thinking of adding a porch overhang on the Westside of my shop. I have a 16ft overhead door that has no vehicle traffic just opens towards my yard/ house and I will be adding a walk through door this fall. ( driveway to shop is on the eastside of shop) Im debating on how far out I should come for concrete/ over hang. I want to poor my slab for the walk through door in the few weeks when I pour the shop floor. Next year I'll pour in front of the overhead door. Trying to decide on what usable overhang would actually be, if it is actually worth it. Thinking i might only have enough steel to have a 5 ft overhang.
