I bought this today for $9, the Hazet 763 and 772/2 numbers lead me to 356 tools. I'm not sure what's missing? Belt is Porsche 95x825 La <S> Phoenix.

Can't say for sure, but the lug wrench and fan/generator wrench are the same as what my 356 had. Complete! Wow.

I've already received an offer asking me to end the auction early for a buy it now price of $2700. I'm going to let it run the seven days.:willy_nil:dunno::willy_nil
I'd strongly consider that offer. Have you checked completed auction prices?

Got one in one of our car, and I think most porsche come with it. The Toyota kits are better, I think.

930dreamer,

Two of the tools in your P356 kit are not original to the kit:

1) feeler gauge set, and

2) the black handled tool with a hook on one end and a prybar on the other end.

It is also missing the tire pressure guage... but you already know that.

Also worth noting, the tool complement in the kits changed a little bit each year during the 356 era. I've never seen any two 356 tool kits that had the exact complement of tools in them or as pictured in the owners manuals that came with the cars.

I have a picture and a factory illustration/list of the 1960 356B kit if that would help you.

WOW!!! I need to follow you to the next yard sale.

The words "you ****" can't really capture the "holy f'ing sh!t, I can't believe you made almost $5k on a small roll of German tools" I keep repeating to myself.

I also watched the auction end, I was a little worried when it was only $900 early in the day, but those last few seconds... Wow! Good for you!

That's why I moved out of the Porsche game. I had a whole garage full of Porsche parts and it took a long time to get rid of the stuff. I never had any of the high dollar stuff but I did sell an old original long hood badge that had the orange bars for well over an hundred bucks. The thing about that was most of the orange porcelain was missing as well as some of the black. It was just a core for restoration.

Wow! For what that sold for you can buy a brand new Hazet Assistent from Jens Putzier and all the tools to fill it.

If he bids $2700, I'll end the auction early.:)

Great for you 930dreamer!! I don't know if I could have taken the gamble and passed on the $2700 offer. Glad you had the stones to push all in and grab the extra $2K.
