Porsche Garage Video - looking for suggestions

Hello everyone:

I have been working on completing the ultimate garage that will be used for projects. Most of my friends have Porsche's so that is the theme I am trying to go with. Anyway, below is a video I made that shows a car as well as the garage. I'd like to hear what suggestions for improvement anyone may have. The next step I was thinking about was flooring and then adding a MaxJax 2 post portable lift.

Yes = More racing pictures. Possibly vintage posters.
No = Porsche calanders - they come out with a new large one each year.

I would like a carbon fiber styled garage.

Porsche dealers have a clean look. Imitate that?

Vader first off you are going to need some room to get that garage just right.....and quite honestly the 996 will be in the way.....so I will come pick it up and babysit it for a few months and then when you are all done you can come pick it back up.....I won't go too far.....maybe just to watkins glen.....haha

regguy1 - I'll probably be getting the maxjax. I have some concernes regarding the ceiling height though. I have measured and with the GT3 fully raised it will leave an inch or so of clearance. I wonder if it is possible to raise the ceiling of the garage. There is an attic that I built directly above that I can stand up in on my knees.

You could pull off the flavor of the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Whites and grays with maybe a green section on the floor where you park the car. Use clean/simple cabinets to hide the clutter (there are some good examples of that here here on GJ)

FYI: The ceiling in my garage is 8' 10"

Race Deck would be the easiest. If you're at all a DIY guy, then porcelain tile would look awesome with that garage/car.

I like this. I just feel like I'd like the best of both worlds (showcase both car and garage). Afterall, when I'm home I probably spend the most time in the garage.

yeah, but keep that minimalist Mordic/Teutonic style to it... don't over clutter it like we Americans like to do with our spaces. High quality tools/boxes, etc.. and keep it simple and functional.

Thank you to all for the suggestions on flooring. I was wondering what you thought of the gladiator garage works products as far as cabinetry is concerned. If not overdone, I think it could produce a clean look.

Has anyone ever looked into the cost of adding a third bay to a standard 2 car garage? I'd really like some extra space. However, I have no idea what this would cost. 10, 20, 30K?
