Porta Band spring

I'm having to order a new spring for my Porta Band model 725. I've had good luck finding other parts that I ended up needing to fix it on ereplacementparts.com, but the spring is obsolete. Since I'm not used to looking up parts, can someone give me a hand finding one? I tried amazon but didn't have any luck finding a spring. If it helps, the part number on ereplacement parts is 804389.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was able to stumble across a couple other sites.....I'll see how it goes! Man these parts aren't cheap!

What does the spring do? If it's not too critical or distinctive check mcmaster carr etc. they have all kinds of springs, different strengths, shapes etc.

I'm not really sure. I have a friend working on it for me since I don't know how to do that type of stuff. I purchased a spring at a local hardware store that is for a lawn mower. He told me that it wasn't quite the right shape and size.

I found a site that has the spring, but with the other parts I have to get, I'm just getting half now, half later. That way I don't break the bank all at once.
