"Portable" 2 post lift options

Hello,
I have been reading quite a bit on this site and appreciate all the awesome info. Read the whole 72 page MaxJax thread last night and have some questions now. Was considering posting in there, but this isnt really that model specific. I have an 11 foot ceiling in my 3 car, and I am looking to get a 2 post lift. I had been looking at the MaxJax, the Universalift, and the C7000. I don't really need a lift that can be moved all the time, I mainly need one I can move twice a year when we have events in the garage. Can I just use anchors like those 2 post portable lifts use, and take out the bolts and disassemble a normal 2 post lift when I need to? The issue with the MaxJax is height and weight limits, and the other 2 marketed as portable seem to be back ordered or not produced anymore from what I can find. Would like any suggestions

If you need full height, I'd suggest just putting in a "real" 2 post and then removing the arms for your events. 600~750 lbs per post is a lot to move and normal installation would require the post be lifted off the anchor studs. You'd have to ask the specific manufacture if they would certify the left capacity using floor inserts vs the recommended anchors.

2 post is heavy but could be taken apart. I would not want to do it 2x a year. When I moved last year and sold my 2 post, it was down and in the truck in about an hour and a half but there were three of us working and we fully disassembled it. Might be easier if it was just unbolted and moved to a wall. Anchors would still stick out of the floor unless you you can use some sort of female anchors that receive bolts.

I would much rather have a full height 2 post than a Max Jax. 11 feet is enough ceiling height to get many cars up about 6’. What about a 4 post with caster kit that you roll out of the garage?

Run the arms all the way up and decorate the posts.

Put the arms towards each other like lifting a small car, raise up 3 feet, put a sheet of plywood on top, throw a table cloth over that, and use the lift as a table. I would live in my garage, but my my wife might get upset.

If it was only up to me I would turn it into a table or something for parties and never even try to move it, but can't seem to convince my wife its a good idea. I had considered a 4 post lift, but that takes up a lot of room. Maybe I will reconsider that option. Any opinions on the C7000 and Universalift? I could probably find some used ones, I was just assuming there was a reason I couldn't find anyone stocking them...
