portable A/C vent into attic OK?

It's really hot right now and I have a project to finish this month.
If I get a portable A/C can I use a dryer duct to run the exhaust up into the attic, I actually have a hole in the ceiling cut out for speakers but no speakers yet.. That might be easier to use than try to crack open the door and get a good seal?

Heat rises up anyway so I don't think the heat is going to come back down from the attic, there is an attic fan running also.

Does it cause any problems with the insulation? I have insulation just the fiberglass on a piece of foil, not blown. Then again the attic fan moves more air then the A/C exhaust does.

I have a portable A/C right now vented to the attic... Not sure if its doing anything but portable A/C are not the best.... I'm looking to get a Mini-Split or something better...

I know definitely minisplits are better..
I am looking for this as a temporary solution though.. it's really hard to work under the dash when it's really hot and stuffy

From what I have read the portables aren't really worth the money, but I guess they might be better than nothing. I wouldn't vote for venting to the insulated attic though. I would put a dryer vent along the lower wall and vent it there. Then if in the future you want to run a exhaust hose from your car to it it will be there. Either way it would hurt the garage.
