Portable/carryable tool chest?

I had a Craftsman, socket set, that actually had a fairly decent plastic case. It had some space for extra stuff, and then I had two wrench rolls with it (My Armstrong Gearwrench/box wrenches, and my Snap~on flare nut/open end wrenches, both metric).

These were stolen out of my truck, when I was having some medical problems last year, and trying to live. (haven't had asthma problems in years, haven't had medication in decades, as we figured I outgrew it)

So part of my stuff has been replaced by me (OUCH), but the new socket case, *****. It is a different design then the old, and every other time you open it, all the 1/4 and 3/8" short sockets come out.

I am guessing I am going to end up with multiple tools chests (let's just say a back issue), and wonder what you guys use for your socket/plier lugging?

(I need to be able to take things out to my brothers farm, and not leave them do to little hands)

if you having back issues, i would suggest possibly a piece of heavy rolling luggage. such a sampsonite case of somesort. or a cheaper alternative would be a back pack, so atleast the weight is distributed to both shoulders. possibly an army surplus bag?

I take my tools to jobsites all the time with work. I've got a separate set of tools just for doing that. I keep all my hand tools I'll need in a 20" Kobalt tool bag I got at lowes, and my power tools in the ryobi bag they came with. They do both get quite heavy though. But, I believe lowes/HD both sell rolling plastic toolboxes, they're about 3 feet high, have an extendable handle and all that. You might want to check that out. Or, if you really feel like spending some cash, you could always get a Pelican brand case, the supplier you purchase it from might even custom foam it for you. If you want to go that route, I'd go with an internet purchase, they'll be cheaper there.
