Portable heat pump

Looking for a little advise.
I have a loft room above a garage that we are turning into a small apartment. (kinda) Was wondering how well the portable heat pumps are. Ive noticed some have a one hose vent and others have two hoses. Which one is best ?. Do they perform good? Are they worth buying? Which brand is best?

3 days and no response ......hmmmmmm? I am not a HVAC guy but was an electrician for 44 years, and I have no idea what is a "one hose vent" or a "2 hose vent" heat pump. Maybe you can post a link so I....we know To what you refer. Just a thought. Good luck.
