Anyone own one of the new adjustable LP heaters? They are built like the salamander ones that burn oil only they are LP. I have an older non adjustable one but like to know how the newer ones work.
What kind of adjustment are you looking for? For a portable excellent heater I will again put forward the Rinnai 824. Vent free, modulating burner and blower. 8,000-24,000 but. Built in programmable t'stat, infra-red burner, Cool to the touch, quiet. Put a quick connect on it and you can move it where you want it.

When fuel is burned the exhaust (products of combustion) have to go somewhere( vent out doors)
What happens to these products of combustion? I've seen them advertised but don't understand how long they could run and still leave a space safe?
Do they have an oxygen sensor or any safety controls that shut them down in an unsafe condition?
