I'm looking to buy a portable battery power station

Camping, tailgating, etc......when I don't want to run a gasoline generator but still require electricity

Who has one?

What mah size?
What wattage?

My son bought a Jackery a few years ago. It will run a couple of laptops with external monitors and the WiFi router for a day.
The Jackery units are well made and elegant but very expensive. They hook up to small solar panels quite easily.
They come in many sizes so get one suited to your expected needs.

A friend of ours is trying to use a Jackery pair to run a beverage dispensing trailer. Still in startup mode and they had a bit of a freak out Sunday when it suddenly went to zero in minutes. They have two 18 in by 6 ft panels hooked up, one to each.

I have a Jackery 240, pretty surprising what it will run. I had a specific need at the time, sound and mics for an outdoor wedding ceremony. It ran a 12" powered speaker, wireless mic receiver, mixer and laptop charger for 45 minutes no problem. I bought a plugin monitor so I can see the draw on specific items, I would highly recommend everyone considering a power station have one so you can understand what the load is on different devices.

After a 7 day power outage recently I want to add some panels to charge it, and a larger power station.

I have a Bluetti Ac200 Max ( 2200 watt sine wave invertor) and 2 B230 extension batteries, giving me a total capacity of 6.1 KWH. I use this to back up my essential circuits in my house via a generator transfer panel. It wont run any 240 volt items, but during a recent 39 hour power outage in my neighborhood because of an historical rainfall event, I was able to keep my propane fired combi boiler ( domestic hot water and heat ( if needed)) , refrigerator, kitchen lights and outlets, internet, tv running. I can get approx 30 hours running time out of it and then i can use my small Honda invertor generator to recharge in approx 5-6 hours while simultaneously using it. So essential i can get 60 hours of back up power - system is precharged from the grid prior to outage and the 1 gallon of gas the Honda generator would use to recharge it at the 30 hour mark. It certainly proved its worth during the outage.

We have a small Anker power bank. I believe 253 Wh capacity and 200W output on AC. We've mostly just used it to run my portable cooler fridge. It will run that even in a hot car for 5 to 6 hours.

Haven't had a need to use it for anything else yet.

You mean a quality inverter connected to a couple deep cycle batteries stored in a appropriately sized roller tool case? If one wanted to be really fancy you could rig up a permanent charger as well, just plug in an extension cord when you get home.
